Association of Colleges

Association of Colleges is the national voice for further education, sixth form, tertiary and specialist colleges in England. It is a not-for-profit membership organisation whose members make up more than 90% of the sector - educating and training 1.6 million people each year. As a membership body it influences policymakers to create the environment for strong and sustainable colleges; provides high quality professional support, advice and intelligence to its members; and champions the work colleges do locally, nationally and internationally.

British Council

The British Council is the UK’s international culture and education organisation. Its International Student Mobility team provides agents and counsellors with UK knowledge training as well as managing a training and engagement hub and a public-facing database of trained agents and counsellors.

BUILA

The British Universities' International Liaison Association (BUILA) is a UK-wide, membership-led organisation supporting over 149 higher education institutions in international student recruitment and partnership strategies. It promotes ethical, sustainable recruitment, influences policy, facilitates knowledge sharing, and leads the Agent Quality Framework (AQF) to ensure quality in international education. 

UKCISA

The UK Council for International Student Affairs (UKCISA) is the UK's national advisory body and charity dedicated to supporting international students and the institutions that host them. Founded in 1968, it provides expert advice on immigration, fees, and student welfare, while advocating for policies that enhance the experience of international students in the UK. 

UUKi

In the UK and abroad, Universities UK International (UUKi) connects higher education leaders, shares insights, influences policy and creates opportunities. UUKi is the collective voice of UK universities on the international stage.

UUKi’s goal is to help UK universities flourish internationally by representing them and acting in their collective interests. This helps UK universities build secure, sustainable relationships with international institutions, researchers, students and partners.

Destination for Education

Destination for Education is a coalition of the six leading pathway providers that prepare international students for successful study at British universities (INTO, Kaplan, Cambridge Education Group (CEG), Navitas, Oxford International, and Study Group). Pathway providers help international students to develop the study and language skills they need to succeed at degree level which they have not had the opportunity to attain in their local education systems, partnering with world-class universities across the UK.

Independent Higher Education (IHE)

Independent Higher Education (IHE) is the UK membership organisation and national representative body for independent providers of higher education, professional training and pathways. IHE’s mission is to represent, support, advise and promote independent providers across the UK who share their values of diversity, flexibility, innovation, student focus, and collaboration. 

Boarding Schools Association (BSA)

The Boarding Schools’ Association (BSA) is a leading membership organisation supporting boarding schools in the UK and internationally. It provides expert guidance, training, research and professional development to support excellence in boarding and pastoral care. Through a training programme, accreditation and specialist advice, the BSA helps schools safeguard pupils, strengthen boarding practice and create safe, supportive communities where young people can thrive.
